Sitting in a quiet real ale pub working my way along the hand pumps or watching a quality drama on TV with a glass of port and a cheese board.

Working in a plastics moulding factory in Burnley as a temporary labourer in the warehouse.

Spiders and snakes. I had a snake once try to climb up my trouser leg at the Wildlife Park.

I’ve not got one - like most middle aged people I hark back to music from my youth. Depends on my mood!
What is your favourite part of the Isle of Man?
Peel beach.
What is the last show/band that you saw live?
Mad Daddy. Simply brilliant and talented musicians.

Churchill, Helen Keller and Rem Fowler, the first TT winner.
