Get your skates on for a further two weeks, the Manx Fun Barn has announced.
The entertainment centre is extending the closing date of its new ice rink, which was scheduled for Saturday but will now remain open until January 18.
Andrew Clague, who runs the Onchan-based business with his wife Jacqui and four sons, said the rink has been ’very successful’.
He added that running of the rink is ’really expensive’ and they hope to see more families and teenagers come down and make use of the remaining time.
They made the announcement via the Manx Fun Barn Facebook page, along with a revised timetable.
Once the ice rink is closed, the family aim it to become a multi-purpose space for go karts, five-a-side football, bouncy castles and even a rollerskating rink.
The new opening times for the ice rink are: Monday to Thursday: 12 pm - 5pm; Friday: 12 pm - 5pm with an additional 9pm - 10pm slot; Saturday: 9am - 10 pm.
Private daytime bookings will also take place between Monday and Friday.
