The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for icy patches.
The weather forecast:
Chilly start to the day with a patchy frost in sheltered areas, but then sunny intervals developing and a moderate to fresh west or northwest wind that will decrease this afternoon. Top temperature 7°C.
Into tomorrow, cold start with a frost, then becoming sunny with lighter winds and temperatures up to 8°C.
Into Monday, dry with some brightness to start, then tending to cloud over later. Moderate west or southwest wind and temperatures up to 8°C once again.
