An inquest has opened into the sudden death of a student.
Alexander Robert Brown, 23, was found unresponsive by his family in the bedroom of his home on Bradda Road, Port Erin, on the evening of May 23.
The student, who was born in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, was lying on his side and had no vital signs, the police report stated.
Opening the inquest, Coroner John Needham said the medical cause of death had yet to be established and toxicology results were awaited.
He adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed. The Coroner passed on his sincere condolences to the deceased’s family.
