A charity that will provide art therapy to children at Noble’s Hospital officially launches today.

The Teapot Trust (Isle of Man) will be launched during a private event at Dr John Taylor OBE’s home, Arragon Mooar in Santon, in memory of his granddaughter Verity.

Dr Laura Young MBE founded the charity after she and her husband, Dr John Young, sadly lost their child Verity at the age of eight. Verity suffered an auto-immune disease called Lupus, followed by cancer. A family friend and artist found she was more relaxed and was able to articulate her emotions better while creating art.
