A group of carers gathered in Laxey recently for a ’thank you’ Summer Party organised by the owners of Premium Care Limited.

The event, complete with ’wonderful weather, food and cocktails’ coincidentally fell on July 4 - the first national ’Thank You Day’ launched across the UK - which was proposed as a moment to ’Pause and say thank you to everyone who helped’.

Tracey Hudson said: ’The owners of Premium Care Limited Kevin and Sammy are, like many, mindful of the amazing, wonderful job that community-based home carers across both the island [and] the world have done during all lockdowns.

’From the shopping trips, delivering personal care in difficult circumstances, providing companionship, to [being] a friendly face walking through the front door. It’s been without a doubt a very tough 16 months, [and the carers] have all gone above and beyond the call of duty.’
