The cycling team for the 2019 NatWest Island Games in Gibraltar this July has been confirmed.

A particularly strong women’s line-up will consist of Eleanor Davies, Tara Ferguson, Emily Looker, Kate Priest and first-timer Ellen Barker, with reserve Jess Carridge.

The men’s team will be led by Commonwealth Youth Games road race champion Thomas Bostock and Zappi-Holdsworth rider Nathan Draper. They are joined by three impressive young teenagers - Will Corkill, Adam Scarffe and Max Walker, all of whom are making their Games debuts. The reserve is Matthew Looker.

All the members of the men’s team, including the reserve, and three of the women’s team are Team RL360 graduates. Keeping it in the family, cousins Eleanor Davies and Will Corkill have both been selected, along with Emily and Matt Looker.

Multiple Island Games gold medallist, Andrew Roche, is the team manager and coach.
