The Isle of Man’s athletes stole the show in the men’s half-marathon at the NatWest Island Games in Gibraltar on Friday morning.
Ollie Lockley led home a Manx one-two ahead of team-mate Alan Corlett to land the individual gold medal in a time of one hour six minutes and 54 seconds.
Corlett crossed the line in 1:07.37 to land the silver medal and, with Max Costley claiming seventh place in 1:12.07, it meant the Isle of Man trio also clinched the team gold for good measure.
In the women’s race, Elissa Morris was the sole Manx finisher in a fine sixth place in 1:27.25, while Hannah Howard was unfortunately unable to finish.
