Two major car parks next to the Grandstand in Douglas have been shut due to poor weather.

Both St George’s car park and Nobles Park car park are currently closed as a result of recent rainfall making the ground conditions unfit for purpose.

Ground conditions are set to be assessed throughout the day, with the aim being to re-open the two car parks as soon as possible.

A spokesperson commented: ‘We strongly encourage visitors to travel via public transport where possible.
