The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Showery outbreaks of rain will continue to affect the island this morning, but will die away into the afternoon leaving isolated showers and bright or sunny intervals. Top temperature around 7°C, but feeling much colder in the strong north-westerly wind.
Dry this evening with clear spells, before is turns cloudy as a band of heavy rain arrives during the early hours of tomorrow morning, clearing before dawn. The wind will turn to the south or southwest and become strong, with minimum temperature around 3°C this evening, recovering slightly overnight.
Much of the day will be dry with bright or sunny spells. However the cloud will thicken later in the afternoon as another area of rain arrives during the evening. A fresh to strong west to southwest wind with highs of 9°C.
Cloudy on Wednesday with heavy rain soon arriving, as the strengthening southwest wind turns to the west and increases to gale force through the afternoon & evening. Maximum temperature of 12°C.
