The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice.

The forecast:

Cloud continuing to thicken with a few outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing, this then largely dying out in the afternoon. The light to moderate west to southwest winds will increase fresh to strong later in the morning, with temperature reaching 10 or 11°C later.

Outbreaks of rain and drizzle for much of the day on Tuesday, with fresh to strong southwest winds easing moderate and temperatures around 12°C.

Any rain at first on Wednesday during the early hours of the morning, leaving a largely dry and bright day with sunny spells. Then with some showers developing in the evening and overnight. Fresh westerly winds and temperatures around 8°C.
