The weather forecast from the Met Office:

Light winds will gradually strengthen through today, any brightness at first will quickly give way to thickening cloud and some rain for a time late morning into the early afternoon and a period of heavier and more persistent rain during the evening which will be accompanied by strong to near-gale force south-westerly winds. Temperatures will reach 17 or maybe 18.

The rain will die out tonight and the wind ease, a generally dry day on Tuesday with a fresh to strong southwest wind and temperatures up to 17.

Wednesday will be another windy day, with strong to gale force south-westerly winds, dry and bright at first but soon clouding over with rain for a time in the afternoon. Highs of 16 Celsius.
