The Livestock Festival 2019 rocked the rafters at Ballahick Farm in Ballasalla from late Saturday afternoon into the early hours of Sunday.
The event raised £850 for Hospice Isle of Man.
Organiser Hamish Faragher said: ’Not only was this a chance to come together as a vibrant community, it was also for a fantastic cause.
’Hospice provides extraordinary care for people and their loved ones during challenging times in their lives. I’ve always valued the work Hospice does as my nan, Nadene Crowther, is a founding member of the organisation.
’I was absolutely amazed with how it all went. It sold out so quickly and we still had so many people asking for tickets. We had Gypo Buggane and Steriopolis DJing and other acts including Matt Kelly, Mae Challis, The Tides, Sunset Jet, Mad Daddy and Dusty Plankton. All the acts chipped in to help each other and we had both Ant Polly Palfreman and Marion Griffiths doing the amazing sound.
’Everyone was amazed by the creative decorations and sculptures that my mum, Helen Faragher, and Sara Elliott have been working on since Christmas.’
He thanked everyone who supported the event: ’It was certainly a night to remember and I couldn’t have asked for a better crowd. I would be silly not to do it again in the future.’
