This morning’s Junior Manx Grand Prix has been red flagged following an incident at Union Mills at the start of the race’s second lap.

New Zealander Royce Rowe came off his 675 Triumph suffering leg injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Noble’s Hospital where his condition is said to be stable and not causing concern at this stage.

The crash caused a lamp post to be brought onto the course and the delay while this and other debris is cleared has meant the race won’t be restarted until 12.10pm at the earliest.

It was also be shortened to three laps.
