Work on the final phase of a new housing development in Ramsey is due to start shortly.

The last stage of development at Auldyn Meadow will see 30 three-bedroom homes constructed by homebuilder Dandara.

A previous phase comprising 12 two and three-bedroom bungalows quickly sold-out.

Planning consent (18/01255/B) was granted by planners in July.

Dandara says the properties will help meet local demand for new family homes and homebuyers should be able to move in by next summer.

The development is located in a semi-rural position just off Gardener’s Lane and included two styles of three-bedroom homes.

Dandara’s head of housing Ciaran Downey said: ’Auldyn Meadow is proving to be a very popular development.

’We anticipate demand for these new homes will be high so would advise potential purchasers to take a look at our show home in Peel, which is open every weekend.’
