Cooil Church will hold Lenten lunches every Thursday from today, January 23.
This initiative will run all the way through Lent and will end on March 30, the day before Good Friday.
Homemade soup, a roll and a choice of dessert will be available, followed by tea/coffee from 12 – 2pm for £7.
The money raised this year is for the Tearfund Earthquake Appeal in Syria and New View Manx Therapeutic Community.
The lunches will be held in Cooil Chapel Hall, near the Isle of Man Business Park.
