One of the highlights of the year in the south of the island might be cancelled - but its scarecrow competition is still happening.
Laa Columb Killey, Arbory parish fair, is usually held in late June but it has been dropped this year because of the pandemic.
Over the past years a scarecrow competition has been part of it and many households have put their artistic talents on show around their properties.
Even though the fair itself is cancelled, the scarecrow competition is continuing.
Prize money has been donated: £50 first prize, £30 second prize, £20 third prize.
The theme is key workers. So organisers are looking for scarecrows based on health care workers, teachers, refuse collectors or the many others that have worked so hard over the past 10 weeks.
To enter phone 834692 or 455012 giving your name and address and title of your scarecrow.
Entries will be open until Monday, June 22, and judging will take place on what would have been Laa Columb Killey Fair day, Thursday, June 25.
The winners will be notified as soon as the judging have taken place.
