The forecast:
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, often persistent and heavy, continuing through into this evening and overnight leading to a risk of localised surface water flooding. A moderate to fresh, locally strong north or northwest wind will increasing to become fresh to strong, locally near-gale force tonight.
The rain clearing through tomorrow morning as the wind veers east or northeast and eases. Becoming dry with some bright or sunny spells late morning or early afternoon before showers develop later in the afternoon or evening that may be heavy at times. Top temperature 15°C.
Unsettled for Monday and beyond with sunshine and showers and fairly blustery winds at times also.
