An ongoing emergency situation in Lonan is being dealt with by Manx Gas after a third party cut through a gas pipe.

The incident has resulted in a number of properties losing their gas supply.

’We believe the areas affected are Church Road, Church Lane, All Saints Park, Reayrt Ny Glonney, Croit Y Quill Road and Croit Y Quill Close,’ said a spokesperson for Manx Gas.

’If anyone is having issues with their gas supply in this area, and have not been spoken to by engineers on site, please contact Manx Gas on 0808 1624 444.’
