A night of original short story reading takes place in the south of the island later this month.
The Short Stories and Ludicrous Tales’ nights, which features up to eight local writers reading either their own works, or excerpts from their favourite stories, takes place at the Cornerhouse cafe, on Bay View Road, Port St Mary, on Saturday, August 24, from 7pm until 9.30pm.
The night, which is free to enter or to take part, is also open to musicians and stand-up comedians.
