David Peter Sleeman, aged 35, of Queen’s Promenade, Douglas, has appeared in court charged with driving under the influence of cannabis.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on December 15 while he was driving an Audi Quattro.

He was represented in court by duty advocate John Wright, who asked for an adjournment until April 4, saying that Mr Sleeman wanted time to instruct advocate Jane Gray henceforth.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
