Matthew James Woods, aged 22, of Saddle Road, Douglas, today pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.

As of yesterday, the victim is said to still be in critical condition after the incident in Victoria Street, Douglas, on March 25.

Bail has been refused and the case was adjourned until sentencing which will take place at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on a date to be set.
