The fifth ’Manx Bard’, Annie Kissack, will give a talk about her infleunces on Saturday.

She will talk about herself and her work.

It will take place at 2.30pm at the Guild Room, Atholl Street, Peel.

Admission costs £3 and refreshments will be available.

The event has been organised by the Manx Branch of the Celtic Congress as part of its monthly series of presentations.

Annie teaches at the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh and is the musical director and conductor of Caarjyn Cooidjagh, a small choir which sings Annie’s arrangements of traditional Manx Gaelic songs and also of new songs in Manx, many written by Annie herself.
