A Ramsey man is off to Spain to have a fashion photoshoot for a popular clothing company.
Tony Foster, a doorman at The Courthouse Bar in Douglas, is set to travel to Alicante on April 6 to do a photoshoot and casting for clothing company Hollister.
The 22-year-old has recently got back into modelling after taking a year out due to family reasons.
He said: ’I’m privately represented by Mike Frazer, a fashion and fitness photographer in London, who is setting up his own agency in the near future.
’I worked with him a lot in 2016 but I took a break last year from modelling to deal with a family issue.
’This year I sent him a message saying I’d like to get back into modelling and he said I’d be perfect for a Hollister casting in Alicante and a fitness magazine. Unfortunately I can’t name the magazine just yet.’
Tony was first introduced to modelling in 2014, when he took part in a photoshoot for island photographer Phil Kneen.
Since then he has modelled for the Isle of Man clothing company Windsor & Wales and has been signed to Flair Talent Model Agency in London and Eye on Models Agency in Milan, as well as casting agency Model Management in London.
He also achieved the title ’Most Fanciable Male’ after reaching the grand final of Top Model Worldwide, a contest held at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel in 2016.
The Manx bouncer was up against 17 other contestants from countries including Canada, Jamaica and Pakistan, all trying and claim the Top Model Worldwide title.
He said: ’I’ve been modelling for years and the job has taken me to many places. I’ve had photoshoots in Barcelona for a travel magazine two years ago and a photoshoot for Burberry in Paris. I’ve also been casted for the fashion company Top Man.
’I count myself very lucky to be involved in things like this and to be given so many opportunities, especially as I come from a small island.’
