A Manx graduate from the University of Chester will be showcasing her work with fashion label ART SCHOOL at next month’s London Fashion Week.
Castletown’s Courtney Glover (right) and fellow Chester student Becky Mann are working on ART SCHOOL’s digital content for their Spring/Summer 2021 virtual catwalk for LFW in September.
Throughout August, Courtney has been working with the label on numerous tasks including assisting with clothing fittings and casting models for the show.
In September, she will help Eden Loweth, the creative director of the brand, shoot the catwalk show which contains more than 50 different outfits.
The former Castle Rushen student gained her internship with the label through Patricia Hall, a lecturer on the course who runs a pay-it-forward scheme to help up-and-coming students find internships and work in the industry.
Courtney said: ’A massive thank you must go to Patricia Hall.
’Without her, we would have never been introduced to such a high-profile designer as Eden.
’As for Eden - we know how much this show means to him, so for him to take us on in such a competitive and saturated industry at this time fills us with joy and pride.’
A selection of September’s LFW collections will be shown online on Vogue International and the LFW website on September 18 and others will be shown in person at Somerset House.
