The Steam Packet's news flagship the Manxman has left Southampton as it makes its way to the island for the first time.

The £78million vessel has been undergoing final fitting in the Hampshire port after travelling back from South Korea where it was constructed.

It is expected to enter service later this month after a naming ceremony next weekend.
