The winner of the Manx National Heritage’s ’Lego on the Loose’ trail has been announced.

Marina Joughin, from Douglas, successfully spotted all the correct locations of the troublesome Lego Minifigures that had broken out of the Manx National Heritage’s recent exhibition, Playful Pasts.

The six-year-old was selected at random from 2,000 entry slips to win the top prize of all 32 of the collectible Minifigures, which included Lego Sherlock, who went out in search of the missing figures.

Around 3,000 Lego enthusiasts helped Sherlock search for the missing Minifigures that had escaped and hidden themselves in the House of Manannan in Peel.

The competition ran from February half term up until the end of the Easter holidays.

Due to the response of the competition, two runner-up prize-winners were also selected.

Toby Losh and Grace Birchall, both selected at random, won the hardback book ’Lego: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know!’.

Suzanne Walker, site manager for Manx National Heritage’s Peel locations, said: ’We were thrilled to see so many people, aged from 0 to 99 years, joining in the hunt for the missing Minifigures.

’It was great to see so many Lego enthusiasts enjoying the trail and our Playful Pasts exhibition.

’The donations from the trails will go to support the continued work of Manx National Heritage in looking after the island’s natural and historic heritage.’
