The Hogg Motorsport Association swung into action this weekend.
The organisation provides medical on 130 motorsport event days every year.
The Easter weekend saw crews out in force at Jurby providing medical cover for the Andreas Racing Association track days.
Dr David Stevens MBE, director of the Rob Vine Fund, and Hogg Motorsport president said: ’We are in full swing now and after a long winter of preparing our vehicles plus the vast amount of equipment we have, it’s hard to believe TT is nearly upon us.
’Over the fantastic Easter weekend when many will have been enjoying barbecues and a beer or two in the garden, our crews, who are all unpaid volunteers, have taken time away from their own families in order to provide essential medical cover. And they continue to do this at the many events we cover over the season. They really are a credit.’
The Rob Vine Fund, incorporating the Hogg Motorsport Association, not only depends on its volunteer crew but also the generosity of the public to buy medical equipment.
