The new Peel Carnival princess and her attendants were selected at the weekend and are pictured here on the town’s promenade.

The carnival is on Sunday, August 6, so is, once again, coinciding with the town’s traditional boat weekend.

The carnival committee has arranged all the traditional attractions, and new this year will be a visiting novelty musical troupe, the Most Absurdist Pipeband.
