A meeting is being held tomorrow aboutthe delivery of the letters patent, the official documents from the monarchy which will confirm the city status of Douglas.
The meeting will confirm preliminary dates, and who will be delivering the letters patent.
Wrexham and Dumfermline, two of the other places which became cities as part of the Queen’s jubilee, saw King Charles deliver the letters patent.
