Forecaster Colin Gartshore said: 'Most places will stay frost free tonight, but prolonged cloud breaks later in the night may result in air and road temperatures falling close to zero in a few places for a time, giving a small risk of icy patches (most likely high level roads and/ or very sheltered spots).'
