November was a mixed month with spells of heavy rain and wintry showers but plenty of sunshine in between.
Met Office figures show that there was rain on every day in the month except the 29th with the heaviest rain being on the 22nd with 43mm recorded at Ronaldsway, a November record.
This, falling on to already saturated ground produced temporary flooding across the island.
Wintry showers left hail on the ground on seven days, the most in November since 1985.
The mean air temperature measured 8.3°C, slightly below the long term mean of 8.6°C. The warmest day was November 1 with a top air temperature of 14.5°C and the lowest ground temperature was recorded on the last day of the month, minus 3.9°C.
There was plenty of sunshine between the showers, 88.5 hours, 37% above normal. The sunniest day was the 2nd with 7.8 hours.
The mean wind speed measured just 14.5mph compared to the November average of 16.3mph. The one gale of the month was on November 22.
