The forecast:
The risk of an odd shower this evening, then dry overnight with clear spells and the moderate northerly wind gradually freshening. Temperatures falling to 2 or 3°C in most places, but close to freezing over the hills with a risk of ice.
Bright or sunny spells but also a few wintry showers tomorrow, with a fresh to strong north to northwest wind. Top temperature again around 5 or 6°C.
Thursday will be dry with some sunshine, but a few outbreaks of rain will develop overnight. Temperatures up to 6°C with a mainly moderate west to northwest wind.
