A minute silence will be held at noon today (Monday) in memory of Richard Lloyd, a former police sergeant who lost his battle with Covid-19.
The flags on the constabulary building will be flown at half mast with officers standing in respect for the 57-year-old who died in the intensive care unit at Noble’s Hospital on Saturday just after 3pm.
Richard, who was known as ’Richie’, was also a head coach of judo in the island.
He leaves behind his wife Glen, his mother Rita, his son Andy and granddaughter Ffion.
