The number of immigrants who have applied for citizenship in the island was at its highest in five years, figures from The Nationality Office show.
A total of 149 applications were received in the year 2018-19, the highest number of which (27) were from South Africans.
It compares with 85 applications in 2014-15, 108 in 2015-16, 99 in 2016-17 and 90 in 2017-18.
The next highest number of applications came from Polish people (seven) and Australians (six).
