A motorcyclist has had to be rescued after falling 10ft down off the Douglas to Ramsey coast road, on the Everlasting Bend.

Speaking about Tuesday afternoon's incident, an Isle of Man Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: 'Crews from Laxey and the line rescue team from Douglas have just responded to a single-vehicle RTC on the Everlasting Bend.

'Working alongside our colleagues from police and ambulance, crews extricated one motorcyclist from a verge approximately 10ft down off the road.'
