A motorist lost control of their car, which ended up on its roof.

Emergency services were called out to Bay View Road on Sunday.

The motorist had managed to get out of the vehicle before they arrived.

Fire and rescue crews remained on scene for a short while to ensure the vehicle was safe and the occupant received precautionary checks from ambulance service staff.
