A plan to shut the Mountain Road on Sunday has been abandoned.

The police were going to use the road from Barrule park in Ramsey to the Bungalow to train officers about how to deal with accidents.

However, officers saw the weather forecast and changed their mind.

Bad weather is predicted.

The training is now earmarked for February 2.
