The Mountain Road will be shut from 9am today till 10pm on Wednesday.

The Department of Infrastructure needs to close the road to carry out preparation work for the TT races.

Parking will be suspended on the Douglas to Ramsey coast road in Laxey, from its junction with Church Hill to the railway crossing at Mines Tavern each day 8am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm.

Access to properties will be maintained.
