Long-haul flights can be murder - especially when members from WASP Productions are among the crew.
The group specialises in murder mystery evenings at which audience members not only enjoy a meal but attempt to solve a whodunnit.
Murder at Fifty Thousand Feet is the latest mystery that is set to put people’s minds to work next month.
Valentine Hilton has been brutally murdered aboard Trollup Airlines, right under the nose of his trusted bodyguard Joe Strong.
Can cabin crew director Bobby Dazzler keep everyone under control? Will Detective Telastory crack the case?
The show will be performed across three acts, each containing hidden clues. The guests, who can enjoy a two or three-course meal and will be able to question suspects, before completing a solution sheet.Prizes will be on offer for top sleuths.
WASP started performing dinner-and-a-show murder mystery entertainment evenings in 2010. So far, the group has raised more than £37,000 for Manx charities and good causes.
A WASP spokesman said the evenings were open to anyone.
’Some people return to each new murder mystery. Some people get into the spirit of the evening and dress up accordingly. If you want an evening with a bit of a difference, this is for you.’
The humour is ’adult Carry On-style’, so it is a matter of parental judgement whether they think the show would be suitable for younger family members.
