Due to weather conditions, the Manx Museum and House of Manannan are closed today and plan to re-opening tomorrow.
In the meantime, Manx National Heritage is suggesting that we enjoy this snow scene taken from an album of watercolour sketches held in the its collections.
"As to circles in the grass, and the impression of small feet among the snow [left by the 'little people' or fairies] I cannot deny but I have seen them frequently, and once thought I heard a whistle, as tho in my Ear, when nobody that could make it was near me."
