The Manx Museum and House of Manannan are to fully reopen on Saturday, coinciding with half term.
At the Manx Museum, an exhibition featuring original illustrations by Jo Davies based on the book Story from Stone by Kim Kneen and Vicky Lloyd-West opens on Saturday, while at the House of Manannan there is a last opportunity to visit the Ruth Borchard collection featuring a selection of self-portraits by different artists.
Both exhibitions end on Sunday, March 14.
Families visiting both museums will have the opportunity to enjoy "Them, Us and Me", a children’s trail uncovering portraits of people from our past. Trails cost £1.
From Wednesday, February 17, to Saturday, February 20, Manx National Heritage will be joined by children’s theatre company Hello Little People for ’Freaky Folklore’, a tour of the Manx Museum.
Designed for children aged between seven and 11, the tour offers the opportunity to journey through the ages.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are priced at £10 and available fromww.manxnationalheritage.im/whats-on .
The cafes at the Sound and Niarbyl Café have also reopened.
