A problem has arisen with the proposed naming of the new estate at Clifton Drive, Ramsey as ’Gibbs Grove’.

This was the original suggestion made by Ramsey Commissioners to the developers, but it transpires that the estate roads do not connect with each other and that there are two separate roadways.

The commissioners have now put forward two new names for consideration - Gibbs Park and Gibbs Grove, thus continuing the association with the Grove Museum and the Gibb family who bequeathed it to the nation.
