Douglas Council has selected its new mayor.

Councillor Natalie Byron will serve for the forthcoming 2023-24 municipal year, ending May 7, 2024.

Miss Byron will signify her intention to accept the office, if confirmed, at the annual council meeting on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Described as a ‘dedicated councillor’ for Douglas Central, she was first elected to the local authority at a by-election in 2016 before being re-elected in 2021.
