A singer songwriter from the Isle of Man has released her latest single.
Francesca May, originally from Ramsey, and now living in Camden, London, unveiled her new song, ’Fire’ , last weekend.
She said the powerful and anthemic song has a darker theme than her previous music.
’This song was the first time I tried playing in an open tuning on my guitar,’ said Francesca.
’I liked the dark sound, and that inspired me to write dark witchy-themed lyrics.
’Walking into the studio I knew that I wanted the song to sound powerful, and the first time I played fire live was at my EP launch last August.
’I knew I wanted it to be my next single after that.’
’Fire’ is available, along with her EP ’Catacombs’, from all online music stores, including Itunes.
