Tickets are still on sale for a tribute night for a local musician, which the organisers are hoping will take place as scheduled.

The ’Tribute For Cam’ night has been organised to take place on Friday, February 12 at the Empress Hotel.

The night is held in memory of local singer songwriter Cameron Staniford, who died in 2019, and has been organised by his mother, Dawn to help raise money for various local mental health charities.

The evening will feature live music from the Birds and the Beards and Jamie Blackburn as well as a three-course meal and other entertainments, as well as the chance to get hold of a copy of Cameron’s album, ’Float Away’, which was released by his friends and family after his death.

Tickets are £45, available by emailling [email protected] or phoning 378085.

Money raised will be donated to The Samaritans Isle of Ma, Isle Listen and Soundcheck Isle of Man.

The organisers are monitoring the current situation and will announce any changes to the event as soon as they are able to.
