Housing developer Hartford Homes has had its application to build a detached house with associated parking on land to the west of 17 Royal Park, Ramsey, turned down.

The planning committee decided that for a number of reasons - siting, layout, scale, form, design and surrounding space - it would adversely affect the character of the neighbourhood.
