Little Rascals Nursery in Castletown have collected a large amount of food to be donated to the southern foodbank.
The Isle of Man Foodbank (Southern Hub) is based in nearby Port Erin.
The collection was picked up by a team from radio station 3fm who are currently running a Foodbank Friday campaign.
One of the nursery’s managers, Cody Lakin said: ’We wanted to help somewhere local.

’We didn’t realise there was a southern foodbank so when we found out about it, it just made sense.’
The kids were taught why the foodbank is necessary, and all got involved too - even helping to stack the donations.
The team hope to do more collections in the future.
