Caring for vulnerable animals during the autumn and winter months is the subject of a workshop, run by a local animal charity.

The Isle of Man Hedgehog society will be holding a day's worth of courses for children on learning about hedgehogs and the dangers they face during hibernation.

The course will let the children make their own hibernation boxes using autumn material and recycled items and inviting the children to make their own small advice poster.

The workshops cost £10 per place and will take place at the community farm. Contact Sandy on 413921 for more details and to confirm a place.
