Onchan Horticultural Society members got together for their 70th show, celebrating the best of local vegetables, flowers and confectionery.
The show was held in the Elim Family centre and organisers praising the overall success of the show and the quality of the competition.
Committee member Jennifer Corrin said: ’We had a good entry across all the classes after what has been a very hot summer.
’We had a good attendance of people throughout the afternoon to view the show.’
She added: ’Children classes were well entered which is always great to see, along with the confectionery.
’Two of the newest classes, being photography and craft, are gaining more entries every year.’
